2019-2020 All-State Honor Band Student!!!
Congratulations to Madigan Roozen (Flute) for auditioning and being Selected for the 2019-2020 Florida All-State Honor Band!!! She will participate and perform with the best musicians in the state of Florida the weekend of January 8th-11th in the Tampa Convention Center!!!
2019 FMBC Oviedo Comp!!!
Congratulations to the Lake Howell Silver Regiment on going to the FMBC Oviedo competition on Saturday november 2nd and sweeping class 4A winning best visual, music, general effect, Colorguard, percussion and being announced 1st place in 4A!!! The Silver Regiment even outscored some bands in a higher class and were announced 3rd place overall out of the entire show!!! way to go!!!
2019 Tri-State Honor Band Students!!!
Congratulations to the following Silver Regiment Junior & Seniors who were nominated and selected to perform in the Tri-State Honor Band. Colin Vaccaro (Senior) on Percussion, Michael Pinheiro (Senior) on Tuba and Luna Padilla (Junior) on Trombone. These students were selected from over many high school musicians from the states of Alabama, Georgia and Florida. The conference is from December 5th - 8th and the concert is on Sunday December 8th, at the FSU Ruby Diamond Concert Hall in the afternoon.
Grand Champs at the FMBC Merritt Island 2019
Congratulations to the Lake Howell High School Silver Regiment on their outstanding performance at the FMBC Merritt Island Marching Band Regional on Saturday October 5th, 2019. After competing against 14 other bands, the Silver Regiment earned overall most outstanding music, visual, general effect, percussion, and colorguard. The band and colorguard were announced as the grand champions of the regional!!!
State Concert MPA 2019!!!
Incredible job to the Lake Howell Wind Ensemble on their performance on Friday April 26th at State Concert MPA!!! They received straight Superior ratings for their performance. Because the band also earned Straight Superiors at Marching MPA and District Concert MPA, the Lake Howell Band Program earned the Otto J. Kraushaar Award for the 2018-2019 school year!!!
